Restoration and preservation of the mill is an ongoing project that started in the early 1970s.
During the restoration we produced an occasional Mill newsletter, Pann Mill Times. We have recently found a set of these and will occasionally publish them on this site for your ongoing
entertainment. look here.
Mill Open Days in 2024
Now that Covid-19 is receding we hope to be able to open again as usual during 2024. Our proposed dates for full open days are Sundays 12th May, 14th July and 8th September. On
these days, water in the River Wye permitting, we will be running the mill and grinding locally grown wheat to make wholewheat flour for sale.
The project team is very small and, at present, we are unable to open more frequently. However, for educational or special needs something can usually be arranged, although actual milling
will not be possible.
We can also provide illustrated talks to local groups or organisations. Please contact us for more information.
